Call For Volunteers

The FPWC (Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets in the Republic of Armenia) is actively seeking volunteers to participate in and develop programs within the framework of SunChild Eco-clubs of  Armenia and various SunChild events held throughout the year, including SunChild International Environmental Festival.

We require of volunteers participating in SunChild Eco-clubs to have skills in one or more of the following categories taught at SunChild Eco-clubs.

These include:

SunChild Eco-clubs:

-Ecological/Environmental Law

-Ecology (Botany, Environmental Studies, Environmental Studies, and so on)

-English and Computers

-Journalism (with a focus on environment)

-Photo and Film/Video (taught either separately or together)

 Summer School

- Discover Caucasia

      -Regional Education

      -Geography

      -Religions and Traditions

      -Ecology

      -Topography

      -Economy

      -Politics

We are also open to new programs proposed/developed by volunteers that may strengthen the SunChild Eco-club system as a whole.

Volunteers wishing to participate in the various SunChild events held throughout the year are not required to have professional experience or specific skills but should be enthusiastic and responsible individuals.

Events:

-SunChild International Environmental Festival
-Save the Nature Painting Contest

-Nature Cleanup (Trash collection and sculpture creation)

-Tree Planting

Activities include:

-Organization (Setting up, tearing down)

-Assistance (Aiding children, guest relations)

 
Specific skills are also necessary based on specific events.

These include:

-Artists

-Multi-lingual persons for the purpose of translation

-Press Assistance (for press releases and information gathering)

-Administrators and Organizers
