The workshop brought together conservation partners from across Europe and Central Asia to exchange perspectives on the future of large-scale ecosystem restoration.

Key discussion areas included:

Climate adaptation: Exploring landscape-scale restoration models that enhance climate resilience and mitigation.
Innovative financing: Examining new funding mechanisms and corporate partnerships to support ecosystem restoration.
Applied learning: Field visits to on-the-ground restoration initiatives, including wetlands and saltpans in the Gediz Delta.
The workshop concluded with a “Re-Connecting” session, emphasizing shared learning, collaboration, and practical pathways toward a resilient, nature-positive future. FPWC remains committed to international cooperation and to integrating leading restoration practices into conservation efforts in Armenia.
